Name: Cerinspet
Server: Farstriders (US)
Starting zone: Gnome/Dwarf
Name of Guild: DONT SAP ME BRO (I'll prolly end up changing it, though.)

I'll be here for 2 hours, or until I get all the sigs I need.

Need 4 sigs atm.

A more positive update than my earlier one

  • Jul. 14th, 2009 at 11:44 PM
Second post of the day, but I actually made some fun progress that I thought I'd share before shuffling off to bed. I posted earlier about the fact that one of my goals wasn't on track, and how I was sad because it was the first one that had fallen through at all. I was also restless because the busyness of life had prevented me from making any progress on my goals recently. So today I did a little bit of catch-up work for my classes (to work on the goal that I was behind on) and then completed a whole different goal!

17) watch at least one episode of “Star Trek” (doesn’t matter which version, but the new film doesn’t count)

I chose an episode of "Voyager," because I remembered that being the one my parents watched when I was younger. It holds a special place in my heart (even though I don't think I've ever actually watched an episode myself before tonight) because back when I was younger and my bedtime was at 9 p.m., I used to fall asleep to the "Star Trek: Voyager" theme song. And that was how I knew early on that I was going to be a geek. :) Because there's so much Star Trek out there, I didn't feel the need to start at the beginning for continuity, so I just chose an episode at random. "Heroes and Demons" ended up being my pick, just because the title sounded cool. It was good- a fanciful and light episode, not pivotal earth-shattering viewing, but enjoyable. I would definitely watch more, especially from other series of the show. After a long couple weeks, though, this was a great starting point.

Another goal completed! \o/

List is here, as always

Lock Love

  • Jul. 14th, 2009 at 7:58 PM
Hallo all!

Just a quick question about locks. I haven't been successful in my search for a solid pvp build for my baby lock. She's almost level 20 and this is the spec I'm working towards. I chose it for a combination of pvp as well as leveling. I honestly have no idea if this is good or not. :/ This is my first lock but so far, so good. Anyway, the other problem I'm having is deciding how to distribute points as I go. Right now, at 17, I have 5 in imp. corruption, 2 in imp. life tap and 1 in soul siphon. My next point is probably going to go into suppression, imp. coa or finishing off soul siphon. So, after I figure that out, I guess the question is should I finish out the affliction points before putting points in demonology?

Thanks in advance, ladies and gents. :]

PS. I love the spell animations for warlocks, as well as the undead female animations. Everything just looks so legit and evil and warlock-y. :D I can't wait to have my felpuppy.

PPS. HP&HBP in ~4 hours!

Who Dun-knit?

  • Jul. 14th, 2009 at 9:54 PM

Working on a few projects and planning a few more at the moment.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Boo the Bat:
I actually plan on knitting a few of these, but the one I'm currently working on is about 20% done and have a grey body and black wings using Malabrigo yarn. I can't wait to finish this one and make one with a much cuter color scheme. I let Josh pick the colors for this one.

'Mustard' Scarf:

I'm also knitting another of the scarves using Jane Richmond's 'Mustard Scarf' pattern (the same of the scarf I recently knitted up and posted a few days ago). I'm knitting this up in a robin's egg blue/tealish type color. The yarn is acrylic made from recycled bottles.

I'm also knitting a baby blanket, but it's super boring and barely worth even mentioning.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
Eric's Jayne Cobb Hat:

Eric's not a dog and his will be made to fit a human head. I ordered the yarn (Cascade 220) yesterday and it should be delivered any day now. Definitely looking forward to knitting this up.

I still need to order the yarn for this. I've yet to decide what brand or weight I want to use. This is for my friend and super secret e-crush, Scott. I adore him. Rawr!

Have any of you ladies had this happen?

Dear Regular Irritating Customer Dude,

The way to get yourself hired at a store is NOT to regularly complain about your life and our prices and to talk down to the people working. The way to get yourself added permanently in the do-not-hire list is to YELL at the one doing the hiring to FIRE good employees to create an opening.

Wishing I could beat you with a Clue Bat,

PS: You're like 30. Shouldn't you know this by now?
